I absolutely love to cook using the slow cooker!
I’ve shared with you before my Super Easy Slow Cooker Chili and my Slow Cooker White Chicken Chili.
There’s just something magical about dumping a whole bunch of stuff in that beautiful crockpot and then coming home to the amazing smell of a finished and ready-to-eat meal.
I also quite enjoy that feeling when I walk in the door after working all day and remember, “Oh yeah! Dinner is already ready!!!” (more…)
I LOVE FALL!
It’s one of my top 4 favorite seasons. Sorry – I had to.
Really, though, I do love fall. I love how beautiful the leaves are as they change colors. I love the crisp, cool air in the mornings. I love the smell of a bonfire. I love football.
And I love chili!
So this recipe is going to veer a little more toward the “EASY” end of the recipe spectrum, because…well, those are my favorite kind. First of all, if you don’t know meal prepping is where it’s at, you might not know what I’m talking about. In case that’s you, meal prepping is basically the process of getting a week’s (or more) worth of food ready ahead of time.
Meal prepping will you save you time at the grocery store and time each day from cooking.
Even more importantly, it’ll save you time from the extra exercise you have to do to burn the calories from all that fast food you eat when you don’t have time to cook during the week. (more…)
