I love me some good old fashioned salmon patties! And, I hope you do, too!
As a kid I remember eating them – usually with some pan-fried potatoes as well, and now I enjoy making them from time-to-time. Of course, we fried ours in probably a quarter inch of vegetable oil and smothered them with ketchup, but they were amazing!
Since I try to find some healthier options to share on my blog, I wanted to give these a try.
I absolutely love to cook using the slow cooker!

There’s just something magical about dumping a whole bunch of stuff in that beautiful crockpot and then coming home to the amazing smell of a finished and ready-to-eat meal.
I also quite enjoy that feeling when I walk in the door after working all day and remember, “Oh yeah! Dinner is already ready!!!” (more…)
I LOVE FALL!
It’s one of my top 4 favorite seasons. Sorry – I had to.
Really, though, I do love fall. I love how beautiful the leaves are as they change colors. I love the crisp, cool air in the mornings. I love the smell of a bonfire. I love football.
And I love chili!
This recipe for Lemon Dill Baked Salmon came from the Blood Sugar Solution Cookbook. I know at first glance it sounds like it would be “too healthy” to be good, but everything I’ve made out of this book has been A-MAZING! This salmon was no exception. I served it with a side of my Roasted Red Potatoes and sautéed cabbage. I hope you like it!

So this dish has a few more calories than the dishes I’ve posted on here previously, but it is still crazy good! And, you can always control the caloric content of your entire meal by what sides you choose.
